Tent
珈琲と白ワイン tent
Tent serves berry-packed summer pudding, wholemeal scones and charcoal-roasted coffee, among other treats. There is also the pleasure of pairing something sweet with a glass of white wine.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Tart berries meet the sweet-salty taste of salted milk ice cream in Tent’s summer pudding, a dessert highlighted by one diner. It is assembled in a glass, with homemade bread soaked in berry sauce and filled with 3 varieties of stewed berries. The ice cream’s saltiness and sweetness balance the tang of the sauce, making for an appealing contrast in every bite. One visitor recorded having it with hot coffee, a combination to consider when you want to make dessert the focus of a relaxing break.
There is more than one direction to take with dessert. Another diner enjoyed strawberry milk tea panna cotta, noting how the aroma of tea and tart berry sauce complemented its sweetness. The menu also includes grape and tea panna cotta, as well as rare cheesecake finished with strawberry sauce, fruit and jelly. For something baked, there are wholemeal scones. One diner praised their crisp exterior; the menu serves them with maple syrup and cream. A scone with a café latte makes a tempting light snack.
Coffee options include Supremo Blend, described as mellow and full-bodied, with little acidity and a flavour that holds up as it cools, and Santos Nibra, with a sharper bitterness. White wine is available by the glass, as is a spritzer made with white wine, soda and lemon. Choosing coffee and something sweet or wine with a snack lets you tailor the visit to your mood. The café is also described as suitable for solo dining, with light meals and desserts available to enjoy on the premises. Come for a leisurely choice of sweets and drinks, or pair a dish with white wine.
